Meridiani-The collections and history
The Meridiani company was born in the 90s from an idea by Laura Ferraro Crosti, that is, revisiting classic furnishing themes in a contemporary key, in order to create elegant and timeless collections. In 1996, after months of research, studies and comparisons, Laura Ferraro Crosti and the artistic director Andrea Parisio finally gave birth to the first collection. Valeria, Laura's daughter, and Renato Crosti then took over the company, pursuing the same objectives, therefore also maintaining the artisan tradition and combining it with industrial production. The Meridiani collections, chosen by Spazio Schiatti, have a precise style and identity, they are without frills, therefore simple and essential, but also elegant, modern, without being trendy and fundamentally timeless. We find both indoor and outdoor furniture. We can therefore distinguish 6 areas: LIVE: We find proposals for the living area, therefore sofas, armchairs, tables, chaise longues, containers and accessories characterized by rigorous shapes, essential volumes, precise proportions, but also by some precious details, such as the choice of materials: from velvet to chenille, to the softest leathers, to leather and some details such as elegant textures or stitching. All the furnishings in the living area are of the highest quality, handcrafted, Made in Italy and characterized by great comfort. An example would be the Prince and Norton sofas and the Keeton Fit armchairs. EAT: This area essentially includes tables and chairs for the dining area, such as the Miller and Gong tables, the Hardy stools and the Kita armchair. The characteristics of the furnishings are the same as the collections in the Live area.
